buying time to pay off credit cards

i have so much credit card debt, I can,t live long enough to pay them off, and at this point i can no longer pay my monthly installments on them. However, I also own two homes free and clear, and if i could just have a little time i could sell one of them and pay everybody. How can i get the credit card companys to allow me this time?

Consolidate against your home

I think the best plan would be to consolidate your credit card debt against your free and clear house. Pay off your credit cards, then sell off the house and pay off the consolidation loan.

Not only will your interest on the debt be lower, but you will keep the credit card companies off your back.

Most importantly though cut up your credit cards and don't get into debt again. Live on cash.
