Halloween can be expensive. In fact, I am amazed at how commercial it has become.

I remember as a child you had to make your own costume or have your parents make it for you. There weren't that many options to buy a costume. Today, to buy a costume for your kids or yourself can cost anywhere from $15 to over $100.

So what are your options? Well with a little creativity and time, you can create some amazing Halloween costumes for both children or adults within your budget.

All it takes is doing some research, looking around your house for materials, and maybe a short trip to the fabric, craft, thrift or dollar store and voila you have made some cheap Halloween costumes!

Whatever you choose, making your own Halloween costume can be fun, save you money and remember to be safe!
