Organize Finances
You Can't Move Forward Until You Know Where you Are!

Organize Finances. It's the only way to find the starting point in your game.
You must take the time and just do it. Sorting your finances may not seem
like a fun part of the game but it is the most important and is not to
be missed!
I have some bad news, or you may see it as good news. You are
already playing a money management game. Unfortunately, you may not realize
it.
As mentioned in the step 1
(Ready to Change) you have formed habits, or rules, with money throughout your
life. So to start a new game, you must first find out where you are right
now. Essentially what your score or scoreboard is in your present
game.
Do you know where you are with your money right now?
If you do know, congratulations! You are already a step ahead!
It's like you just moved ahead 3 spaces on a game board!
If you don't know, that's ok - that is why you are here. And you are
not alone - so many people are unaware of what their score is in
their money game (in my studies 9 out of 10 don't know where they are with their
money).
To find out your score, you must organize personal finances and take a
good hard look at where you are right now. You have to see what your
starting point or “Money scoreboard” is. Essentially you have to organize
your personal finances and more importantly, you will have to be real
about it.
If sorting your finances freaks you out then take your time, and
remember you aren’t alone – rely on your team! (Go to
community
that you created and see that you are not the only one!)

If you are having a hard time looking at the dollars and cents of it
all, then you want to look at possible emotional blocks you may have. As
mentioned in Step 1 -
Ready for Change
- you have created habits that have come from the people in your
life, your past and your past experiences with money. These experiences,
or money messages, may have caused some emotional blocks for you and
stopped you in your tracks when you try to organize finances. In the
next step you will look at
the
truth behind your finances and get real about those blocks, so you can get
past them and create the money management plan that works best for you!
OK let’s get down to business.
Organize Finances - What does Your Money Scoreboard Look Like?
To find out your money scoreboard, you will look at the
raw data.
What do
you own? What are your
assets? How much are they worth?
What
credit card balances or loans do you have? What else to you owe?

Once you have done the work to organize finances, you will have your scoreboard
and see what your reality is, you must discover what your rules were to get you
to this point.
Essentially you will see where not organizing finances has brought you to!
Money management is just organizing your money. Chances are that if your
money isn't organized then you could use some

home office organizing. Check out these great tools on organizing your home
