Use less Laundry and Dishwasher Detergent

I read an article recently that said people can get away with using far less laundry and Dishwasher Detergent in their washing machines and dishwashers than is recommended by the manufacturers. So I tried this out - I used about 3/4 of the amount of laundry detergent recommended and reduced the dishwasher detergent by about 10%, and so far everything seems to come out just as clean. I was more conservative with reducing the dishwashing detergent since that's a possible health issue.

What a great way to save money on your laundry detergent and dish washing soap and help out the environment at the same time!
