What is Your Dream?

Money Management

What is your dream?

What is your partner's dream?

What are your family's dreams?

When was the last time you thought of your dreams?

Or have you been too bogged down trying to figure out where you are now - or how are you going to get through where you are today - that you haven't allowed yourself to dream in a long time?

Gloria Steinem said, “Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.

Dreaming is a Process to Create Your Plan

Dreaming is just a process to create your game plan to live your life the way you want to, not the way that you think you have to.

When I was first asked what my dream was I stopped in my tracks. I thought to myself "I am too practical to dream'. I am an accountant! But I realized that I have no idea where I am going unless I have a clue as to where I want to go - I have to allow myself to dream!

What is a Dream Anyway?

A dream is something that you desire, something that would make your life amazing. Dreaming allows you to get a glimpse of what your future could be. It is the starting point for your goals.

money managementNow don’t think that this is too flowery (like I did) or silly. Even if what you first dream of seems silly or too far out, or not big enough, just remember that as we grow older we dream less and less. As a child you were most likely encouraged to dream in school, or while playing. Then somewhere along the line you were told to “be real” and you stopped dreaming. We have forgotten how much fun dreaming is!

What are your dreams? Take a moment and think about that. You don't have to commit to whatever you dream of. Just because you say something doesn't mean it has to happen. Also don’t worry about how you will make your dreams happen. That comes later.

So start to dream about your future. Start to get clear what you would like be, do or have in your life. Look for somewhere to work towards.

So, What is Your Dream?Money Management

A healthy family? Travel the world?

Spend your life helping others in need?
