Apple Breakfast












(Prep + Cooking Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 4)

Ingredients:




2 apples; diced




1 tbsp. cinnamon; ground.




1 cup red lentils; soaked for 4 hours and drained




1 tsp. cloves; ground.




3 cups rooibos tea




1 tsp. turmeric; ground.




Maple syrup to the taste




Coconut milk for serving

Directions:




Put lentils in your instant pot, add tea; then stir well. close the lid and cook at High for 15 minutes




Quick release the pressure, open the instant pot lid, add cinnamon, apples, turmeric, and cloves; then stir well. close the lid and cook at High for 15 more minutes




Quick release the pressure, divide lentils between bowls; add maple syrup to the taste and coconut milk
